Fall

Heavenly Harvest

With mild temperatures, blue skies and a flaming, leaf-filled backdrop, fall is Minneapolis's most beautiful season. Minneapolis offers many events and opportunities to warm your spirits every autumn.

Fruity Picks

At Afton Apple Orchard in Hastings, there’s not only fresh apples for-the-picking, but apple donuts, apple fritters, caramel apples, fresh apple cider and caramel apple sundaes. For those not apple-inclined, there’s hot dogs, pop, hot chocolate—anything a kid, a family, a couple could dream of.

Afton Apple Orchard’s Annual Apple Festival

Two weekends of apple bliss slotted for October 4th & 5th and October 11th & 12th. Apple picking, old-fashioned hayrides, a petting zoo, face painting, cider and more; a relaxing hay ride and a turn through the 12-acre corn maze complete a perfect fall day.

Veggie Picks

Who could go through fall without a pumpkin? Or a gourd? What about squash?
